About Alba:

Alba is a passionate yoga practitioner and teacher from Catalunya, Spain. Yoga became part of her life five years ago, initially to manage stress and regulate her menstrual cycle. Over time, it became a powerful tool for her overall balance and well-being. Her travels across Latin America and Asia deepened her connection to yoga, transforming it into a way of life.

During her time in India, immersed herself in the study of yoga, learning from various teachers while living in different ashrams. She completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, a 100-hour Anatomy and Yoga Therapy TTC in Rishikesh, and different courses about Thai massage, yogic philosophy and yoga for children. These experiences have shaped the yoga practices she now shares.

Alba developed a deep connection with Sanskrit mantras and medicine chants that she learned by living in ancestral communities. Embracing music from a place of joy, she loves to end the classes by sharing this chants with the guitar.

Prior to this journey, she studied a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and worked as a social worker and educator supporting migrants, people with mental health problems and children.

This background led her to volunteer with "Yoga de Rua," a project in Rio de Janeiro that uses yoga for social inclusion of homeless people. She has recently moved to Zurich, Switzerland, where shares yoga and works with kids in a daycare center.
